Oh, if you are a granola lover than you will really love this one! I chose the Honey Almond because it is two of my most favorite flavors for this type of food. I also wanted something a little generic that I could add to my oatmeal and cereals and not change the taste too much. I love Peaches & Cream oatmeal so when I made my next bowl, I added some of the Honey Almond to it and it was perfect! It also took away some of the sweetness of the sugar that the oatmeal had in it and that was my main reason for doing it. This way I got more fiber and less sugar!
The other way I used the Honey Granola was in my Cheerio's Cinnamon Cereal and I did not cook the granola, just added it cold to the cereal so that I would get some extra fiber there, too. That experiment did not go as well as planned but I still managed to get it down but won't do that again. Honey Almond Granola was however very good with vanilla yogurt! I took some of the Honey Almond Granola and sprinkled it on my vanilla yogurt and cup up some strawberries and it was awesome! This is another great way to enjoy your granola and yogurt if you love it. I know some people don't like yogurt but if you add the fruit and granola, you won't hardly notice the taste of the yogurt. It really is good for you, so please try it!
The next granola I tried was the Crunchy Coconut Granola and it was so awesome! If you love Coconut, then this is gonna be the one for you. It tastes sorta like the macaroon cookie's without the chocolate! It is not sweet but has a really nice flavor that will satisfy your sweet tooth regardless. Some of the ingrediants are: Oats, sugar, canola oil, molasses, coconut, sesame seeds and pure vanilla extract.
Then I tried the Cinnamon Raisin Granola! Wow, does it ever have alot of raisins in it! And I love Cinnamon so I knew that I would love this granola also and I was right. The ingrediants in this all around favorite granola at our house has these ingredients: A sweet and tasty mix featuring whole grain oats, rice flour, oat flour, barley malt, unsulfured raisins, cinnamon and brown sugar.
I can tell you that adding this to one of your favorite Oatmeal Cookies with Raisin recipe would be awesome and will provide all the fiber you should get! Another thing I liked about this granola is that it actually tasted great sprinkled over my favorite flavors of yogurt! Get creative and find ways that you can add some of these granola's to your recipes and you will be so glad that you did.
It satisfies your hunger cravings so you won't get hungry as often. I also mixed this in with some of my Cinnamon Toasted Crunch cereal and it took my ordinary cereal into a great masterpiece!
