Nature's Hand Granola Sponsor Spotlight Review

Have you ever tried Nature's Hand Granola before? If you haven't, then you need to because it really is some awesome tasting granola. I have to confess and let you know that I used to avoid granola at all costs. Then here lately in the last year or two, I have found that I really do like it, that probably I got ahold of a brand that wasn't too good and so I thought they were all like that. Not so fast, because they can be world's apart. I was given 4 flavors to try and here is a list of those flavors:

1. Raisin Hazelnut
2. Wild Blueberry
3. Maple Pecan
4. French Vanilla Almond

The only ones I did not get to review were the Cranberry Delight, Original Vanilla Almond and Cinnamon Apple. Nothing wrong with either of them, I just really like the four flavors above better. That is why we have so many flavors to choose, because everyone is not gonna like the same flavors. If we did, we would be so boring, so dull and afraid to step out of the box and try something new from time to time. You can check out those 3 flavors by following this link.

The Vanilla Almond Granola is made up of crunchy oats, wheat, almonds and sunflower seeds with natural flavors and delicious french vanilla flavoring. Contains only 140 calories per serving and 4.5 grams of fat. Not too bad and you get lots of fiber, too!

Can you tell the camera is giving me fits again? I could not get any pictures off of the sponsor's site. I guess they did not want other company's stealing their images so I do apologize that these are not better looking. The Maple Pecan Granola has crunchy oats, wheat, sunflower seeds and tasty pecans combined with maple syrup and natural flavors. Contains only 140 calories per serving and 4.5 grams of fat.

I have to admit that the Hazelnut Raisin was by far my favorite because I love the taste of hazelnuts in just about everything, especially my coffee! So, when I saw that they had a flavored granola with hazelnut, I just had to try it! The Hazelnut Raisin Granola has crunchy oats, wheat, sunflower seeds and hazelnuts combined with plump and plentiful raisins and natural flavors. Contains only 120 calories per serving and 3.5 grams of fat.

Lastly, there is the Wild Blueberry which you see at the very top. I saw no point in putting it in this post more than once. The Wild Blueberry Granola has crunchy oats, honey, sunflower seeds, natural flavors, and delicious blueberries. Contains only 4 grams of fat and 0.5 grams of saturated fats.

I found this awesome looking apple in the recipe section of their site and they simply called it Caramel Apple Treat. It really looks good, don't you think? They have lots more recipes using their granola and I hope you go and check it out. You just might find some ways to get your family to eat more fiber. I didn't tell my husband until after he ate his muffin that it had the granola in it. He was amazed.

Nature's Hand Granola is 100% natural, no artificial colors or flavors, no preservatives, no sodium and no trans fats. About 1/4 cup of granola gives you 120 calories and 3.5 grams of fat. You can make all kinds of recipes off of their granola if you are not into just eating them out of the bag (like me). I even found a recipe on their site for Toffee Candy! Can you believe that? That is my absolute favorite! And of course there is always a granola muffin recipe along with chewy granola cookies and pumpkin pie squares! Have I made you hungry yet? If you come up with a great recipe they would love for you to send it along with a picture and it will be added to their list.

I found a little bit about the company in the About Us:
After 35 years of hard work and the building of a successful brand, the founders decided it was time to retire. At that time, a small private investment group came together to purchase the company and trasitioned the ownership in the Fall of 2005.

When the new ownership took over, they decided to give the packaging a fresh look and to launch some new flavors. Within three years, the company had new packaging and went from offering two flavors to seven flavors in an attempt to widen the company’s marketability and brand recognition with its customers. However, even with all of these changes, the new managers realized they needed to maintain the ingredients and formulations of the original recipes that had made the company so successful for the previous 35 years.

I like the idea of healthier snacks and things that provide fiber, which I think is often lacking in American diets.
