I See Me Birthday Book Review

I have to tell you that I love the books that I See Me publish because they are both entertaining and so magical to children. I love that you can personalize them with your child's name on the book cover and all thru out the story. The book above is one I copied off of I See Me's website because for some odd reason I could not get my camera to take a picture of the total book. It would cut something off here and there, so I quick and decided to do it with the one from their site. My book has James on it instead of Aiden, but everything else is the same except for the name all the way thru the book.

J.W.'s birthday is not until August 9th, so I have not given him this book yet, but I can tell you he is going to be thrilled to have it. He loves dinosaurs and dragons and asks for them all the time. I See Me had done a Christmas book last year for me and he was so proud of that book and still is. His mother tells me all the time how he runs to show everyone the book with his name on it and that his name is all over the inside also, so I know he is gonna love this one, too!

I See Me has so many to choose from and they can be for a boy or a girl. You supply the name and in the instance of the birthday book, you supply a list of names of the people to invite to the birthday party up to 10 names! Then you can also have a message written on the first page letting the children who receives the book who it is from and any small personal message you wish to convey can also be there. Below is what the girl's book would look like:

They are beautifully written and have such clear and concise figures that it really does make it all look so real. Here are a few pages from the boy's book:

There are so many great books to chose from other than just the Christmas or Birthday books and if you just want a book for the heck of it with for no special reason, they have plenty of those to choose from also! They even have a section of personalized gifts for children where you can get puzzles and placements for those of you who would love something a little more different. These books can be great tools to teaching your child to learn to read or to inspire them to keep reading.

Here is a little history I found on I See Me:
Welcome to I See Me! where we provide the highest quality, most personalized children's books available. We opened for business in May of 2000, after a year of active product development. My husband Allan and I received a personalized book as a gift for our first son in 1998. While we loved the fact that it was personalized, we thought that the illustrations could have been much better and the story more customized to the child. Thus I See Me! was born.

Allan, who is a graphic designer, and I developed the first book My Very Own Name as a team. Our goal was to produce an educational book that would teach young children how to recognize letters and spell their names. After I developed the concept and wrote the book, we brainstormed together to develop the characters in the book. Allan found and hired the illustrator, and designed the book, while I wrote the business plan.

We are pleased to say our books have become popular among celebrities including Courteney Cox, Brooke Shields and Jessica Alba.

Our mission is to increase self esteem in children through personalized books that celebrate the uniqueness of each child. The goal of our books is to show each child how absolutely unique and special he or she is, to teach the child how to spell his or her name, and to build vocabulary skills.
