Teas' Tea Review & Giveaway **Closed**

I have a slightly different tea company to tell you about now, called Teas' Tea and it comes in these really different and unique plastic bottles and yes they are iced teas. They are either unsweetened or lightly sweetened. The Mango Oolong Tea is the one above and it is lightly sweetened. I also found out that Teas'Tea Mango Oolong was voted best flavored bottled oolong tea at the 2011 World Tea Expo! Another great little fact I picked up was that they use real cane sugar to lightly sweeten their Mango Tea! It was my personal favorite because the taste was crisp and clean and just tasted yummy good!
The Green Mint Tea was another one of our favorites but we had to find a way to sweeten it just a tad by using Agave Nector. It is in a liquid form and does not ruin your calorie budget. This flavor has a nice fresh taste that you will love if you are into mint flavored teas.
They have alot more flavors than the two I have mentioned like Country Peach Black Tea, Jasmine Tea, Golden Oolong, Blueberry Green Tea, Lemon Black Tea, Crispy Apple Black Tea, Rose Green Tea(now this is one I would have loved to taste!), Pure Green Tea, White Green Tea, Lemongrass Green Tea and several low calorie teas. Here is picture of the Rose Tea. I did not get to review this one but I bet it is awesome!
They have a News section that can tell you all kinds of important information and which magazines they have been featured along with the benefits of all their teas!

Here is what I found under the section Heritage:
ITO EN (North America) Inc. was founded in May 2001 with the mission of introducing ITO EN's line of green tea products and establishing a culture and interest in authentic green tea in the United States and beyond. In order to accomplish these goals, the company developed a three-tier strategy, simultaneously entering the beverage wholesale, retail, and restaurant industries.

In 2002, the Teas' Tea line of natural, unsweetened bottled tea was launched. The product line functions as the centerpiece of ITO EN (North America) Inc. for it upholds ITO EN's principles of Natural, Safe, Healthy, Well-Designed, and Delicious. The product was first introduced through wholesale distribution in New York City and the Tri-State area.

The breadth of ITO EN (North America) Inc. is increasing through the development of new beverage and loose leaf tea products, the expansion of its distribution network to a national level, and the growth of its ecommerce operations. With the attention of industry, the media, and the public, ITO EN (North America) Inc. is well on its way to making green tea a true part of the new American culture.

Lastly, I wanted to share with you ITO EN's passion for an eco-friendly planet:

People are looking for a deeper meaning and connection, and one way they find this is by purchasing products from companies that are committed to a better planet, and socio-economic betterment - companies that are about more than making money.

This month ITO EN & Whole Planet Foundation (Whole Foods Market's non-profit initiative), are bringing awareness to the poverty alleviation programs throughout the nation.

ITO EN is one of the original partners with Supplier Alliance for Microcredit to fight poverty around the world. The Supplier Alliance for Microcredit is an alliance of natural foods companies that has collectively pledged $1.05 million to support microlending programs which offer small, collateral-free business loans to the very poor, with a focus on women.

With a microcredit loan, an impoverished woman entrepreneur can start or expand a home based business and create the opportunity to lift herself and her family out of poverty.

Socio-economic and planetary betterment is part of ITO EN's DNA from green tea health benefits research, recycling waste, to reuse of the elements if production (such as making vending machines and park benches our of recycled tea leaves).

To Learn more about ITO EN's sustainability involvement check out this link. Or you can check out this VIDEO by Jim Hoagland, ITO EN SVP speaks about ITO EN & the commitment and partnership with Whole Planet Foundation to alleviate poverty.
