Eyes for Justice Book Review

This is a really great mystery who done it kind of book that I really love to sink my teeth into! If you love trying to solve the crime while you are reading the book like me, then you will love this book! Here is what it says on the inside cover:
Cassidy, Allison and Nicole fight for justice everyday--Casssidy as a crime reporter, Nicole as an FBI agent, and Allison as a federal prosecutor. Together they're a Triple Threat to be reckoned with. A force that, together, has solved the toughtest mysteries.

Until a ruthless killer finds a way to isolate and murder one of the three.

When the authorities keep the survivor's at arm's length in the investigation, the women's desire for justice goes into overdrive. They find an unexpected ally in a quirky private investigator named Ophelia whose unorthodox methods seem to offer a possible breakthrough in the case.

Yet just as the police appear to have the killer in custody and justice within sight, the murderer strikes again. Not knowing who to trust, the team must engage in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse where nothing can be taken at face value--and nothing will ever be the same.
Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it was Cassidy who was murdered because she got a tip from someone and went to meet them (she was the crime reporter) and the other two friends were the ones to find her. But, they have been told in no uncertain terms to stay away from the case. Come to find out Cassidy had been dating a cop who was violent and she turned Rick in and of course, he was the one the police arrested for her murder. Allison and Nicole think Rick is innocent of the murder.

They both kept telling the Portland police that Rick was violent, but not this violent and that they were missing a clue somewhere. When the police did not believe them, they decided they would have to find the real killer by themselves.

The girls do team up with another woman named Ophelia who is a private investigator and together they decide to trust no one until this murder is solved. At Cassidy's funeral a man who had been stalking Cassidy because he loved her was so distraught over her death that he slit his throat right there at the funeral and fell on top of Cassidy. Before he died, he told the girls that he saw the man who killed Cassidy because he had been following her and before he could do anything the man killed her and he kept saying how sorry he was for not protecting her.

Now, I am stopping there. I want you to enjoy reading the rest of the story and besides, if I tell you how and who killed Cassidy then you won't want to read the book! It really is a good crime mystery book and I hope you take the time to read it! Happy Reading!
