The above video will show you some of the many styles of earrings that Dana Renee Style can custom make for you depending on size and colors that you like to wear. She had asked me which colors did I prefer and if I liked long or short. Don't you just love it when you are in control and have some input into how you would like your unique piece of jewelry to look? Here is the pair that she made for me:
I hope you can see those pretty good. I had to take them with my camera because Dana Renee Style has not got a website set up so I could not copy off of her page for a better image. Then again, she may not have one like this since they are all made according to the person's customized order. They are a sorta very light beige see thru color with the pinks and golds along with a few hints of blue in there. I really do love the earrings she made for me. They are not heavy like alot of jewelry that I have gotten in the past where they hurt my ears and had to be taken off. I was able to wear these for several hours and did not have any problems.
I am always amazed at what people can do once they set their mind to do it. I, however, don't really have anything that I make great other than my cooking and baking. I wish I did have some sort of talent, but I guess we all can't be creative or we would all be so darn bored to death! I found these on her Facebook page to give you a better look at what she has done in the past:
All of her work is featuring shells, pearls, glass and lampwork beads, and semi-precious stones. Dana Renee Style began as a hobby while she was recovering from neurosurgery. She needed something that worked from a more or less stationary setting. She rediscovered her love of jewelry-making and began crafting statement earrings. The line has now expanded to over 250 unique pairs and is growing every day. All of her jewelry is made in limited quantities so there is nothing mass produced. She fashions each piece herself. Like I said earlier, you can get custom orders for either a design or quantity are available, please contact her for more details.
You can view some of her earrings on her Facebook page, on YouTube (which is the video above) or check her out on Pinterest. She also has a Twitter account so you can also follow her thru that. If you live in Maryland, she is often at Arts & Crafts shows, so you might run into her there.
