Tropical Traditions Powdered Dish Detergent Soap Review & Giveaway **Closed**

Wow, one thing that I can tell you for sure and that is Tropical Traditions does firmly believing giving you the most bang for your buck! Look at the size of that Dish Detergent Soap! I was expecting to see something about half that size! Don't get me wrong, I was happy to see a product that actually delivers on their word and does believe in giving great customer service! Our dishes came out looking clean and almost as new as the day we got them, well, except for where everyone had made chips on the cups or plates! But I was pleased to see that it worked just as well or if not better on the pots and pans. Those have been the hardest things to clean with every dish detergent and this one took care of that in a heartbeat! Thank Goodness, we now have a detergent we can really count on!

Household Traditions Powdered Dishwasher Detergent With Enzymes is free of:

**Ultra concentrated!

These are the things that you can count on your dish detergent being free of when you purchase it. That mean no worries about bad chemicals in your home that could harm your children, beloved pets and sometimes even elders who may live with you but don't fully understand the things they read on the labels. Tropical Traditions tries it's best to make your home as chemical free as it can.

Another thing that you can be assured of when using the detergent:

Household Traditions Powdered Dishwasher Detergent is non-toxic and environmentally safe with no harmful by-products upon decomposition. Household Traditions Powdered Dishwasher Detergent does NOT contain chlorine, phosphates, fillers or fragrances. Household Traditions Powdered Dishwasher Detergent rinses away completely leaving no residue on your dishes so you get a clean, safe sparkle.

The directions for using this detergent is just a tad different than what you normally use at home with the squeeze bottle kind so just be sure to know what the directions say:

Directions for use: (1 Scoop = 2 oz.)

Fill one dishwasher cup for regular loads. Fill both cups for tougher problems. Load according to dishwasher manufacturer's directions. It is recommended to wash silver articles by hand. Make sure all items are dish-washer safe. For really tough jobs, like baked-on food, soak item for 30 minutes or more in sink full of hot water and 1 scoop of Household Traditions Powdered Dishwasher Detergent. Safe for septic tanks. Store in cool dry place.

I did not know this and of course I wouldn't since we lived in Germany for so long that you miss out of alot of things and I am glad that I ran across this article now because it clears up alot of myths behind:

Many states have now banned or severely limited the use of phosphates in automatic dish detergents. Household Traditions Powdered Dishwasher Detergent contains absolutely no phosphates or other toxic materials like chlorine but still gets your dishes clean.

Though you can use a rinse aid with Household Traditions Powdered Dishwasher Detergent, it is not necessary, as it leaves your dishes spotless and clean! (As with any dishwashing detergent, do not use on real silver as tarnishing may occur).

We have also improved our automatic dishwashing detergent by adding an enzyme package as well as a naturally derived rinse agent and hard water treatment additive.

I guess I never thought much about what I clean my dishes with but now that I know more than I used to know, I can be on the lookout for the "real" detergents based on good research for me and the rest of us who want to know the difference's we now have at least so far that I know who I can trust to give me the straight answer all of the time.

I hope that this article was beneficial to you as it was to me. I seem to learn something new every time I go to their website. I must stress that I am only a blogger and mom as well, so I am the first to admit I don't know everything but I am trying to take it one small product at a time and I know I will run across some who products that I may not have a clue on what they are talking about, but if it is relevant to what you are using and I found out that something has changed in the way its going to perform, I will definitely let you know all about it.

Lastly, Tropical Traditions would love for us to tell you about their special that they are running about their Virgin Coconut Oil and the many recipes that you can make with it. I hope you will enjoy this short video on how to make some really good and healthy recipes for your family.

Tropical Traditions has been kind enough to let one winner win their own powdered dish detergent. Thanks so much for hosting a giveaway! Open to the U.S. only.
