Gorton's Seafood Review & Giveaway **Closed**

Doesn't that look delicious? We love Shrimp Scampi around here and usually it a few times a month whether at home or out to dinner. I made this one day this past week with the coupons I received from Gorton's Seafood I was able to get (2) boxes of their Shrimp Scampi and we had it along with wild rice and read homemade canned green beans and angel biscuits! It was really out of this world. If you haven't tried Gorton's Shrimp Scampi and you do love shrimp, then this is one you won't want to miss. This is about the only way I can get him to eat shrimp other than fried but I am trying to make him eat healthier so when we do get fried, it is baked, not fried.

Gosh, Gorton's has so many other products to try other than the one I just told you about and I hope you check them out and see what they have to offer.

They have two types of salmon, two types of grilled shrimp, 4 types of tilapia, 3 types of fish tenders, 5 types of shrimp, 3 types of battered fish, 5 types of natural grilled fillets, 4 kinds of breaded fillets and one fish stick. I bet you can find something in there for everyone!
I do not fry any of our fish or shrimp because we are trying to watch our cholesterol but from past experience, I can tell you that they are awesome fried but if you can't fry them for some reason, baking them is just as good as long as you don't over bake them. Lord, my daughter one time did that and those were the hardest shrimp I think I have ever tried to eat! Follow the directions on the box, but be aware, that all ovens are not the same so I always keep a check on anything baking in the oven until I see how they do.

My oven tends to heat faster so I have to shorten the time that is on the box, but start with what they say and just keep an eye on it and you should be okay. The Butterfly Shrimp are crispy and great tasting by themselves but we have tried it the way that was on Gorton's recipe page on their website. It is called Butterfly Shrimp with Key West Sauce.
Another great product we like from Gorton's is their Salmon. You can get it in original Classic or with as Lemon Butter Filets. Either one is great, it is a personal choice. We like them both so I switch it up sometimes. They are both fantastic and I recommend both. And it is so good for you and if you have a cholesterol problem this is but just one way of helping to get the good omega oils that your body needs to help fight an array of health problems. I know I don't get enough and do take an extra krill oil to be on the safe side. Whatever you choose from Gorton's, I am sure you will be 100% satisfied with any of their seafood products.
