FoldFlops.com Review & Giveaway **Closed**

I got to review a pair of Flip Flops that are exactly like the foldup shoes we have seen around except that these are Flip Flops made by a company called FoldFlops. They are pretty cool actually and they do fold up and you can fit them in a slightly larger handbag so that you have enough room for everything. They are perfect for the woman who needs to wear heels at work but as soon as she steps out of that door, just open your handbag and let your feet say thank you for doing that! I personally try not to wear heals at all anymore since I don't work. I get most all of my shoes in flat or those with almost no heels at all.

You can also get them in red along with pin, baby blues and champagne which is like a shimmery beige. They also come with a drawstring bag for you to put them in so that they don't mess up your handbag. I thought this was a pretty cool idea and sometimes it just makes me want to scream why I can't be the one inventing the next "it" thing! They come in both women and men's sizes and they are at $20 a piece right now.

Unlike many disposable or flimsy foldable shoes or flip flops, foldflops custom molded, high quality EVA construction makes them perfect for continued wear. A porous edged topsole to resist dirt and sweat, a ridged outsole to minimize slip, and a cushioned inset to maximize foot and arch support provide high-level comfort. Foldflops are waterproof and UV resistant.

I got all of that part right off their website since nothing I said would have come close to explaining how it works, so I saw no sense in me trying to find other words that mean the same.

Shoot, if it had been left up to me I would have gotten one of each color because I practically live in flip flops. I have RA and OA so my feet stay swollen and that is the only part that makes finding a pair so hard to fit. I chose the 7/8 hoping it would be more on the 8 side but it wasn't and I really can't wear them because they are too small and they hurt the sides of my feet when I try them on.

I think a size 9/10 would have been better for me. I have several sandals and flip flops in size 8 or 8 1/2 and they fit perfect. I do not know why companies try to lump that big of a size difference into one size but what I would have done is mad 7 to 7 1/2 then the 8 would go up to 8 1/2. I hope somebody someday takes my idea and see if it works. I bet women would be lined up everywhere to get their hands on several pairs because they know they would be more true to their size.

It might have been some of my fault too because I knew better. I should have erred on the side of caution and gotten the next size up because I can't wear anything size 7 anymore. Which is really funny since I sore a size 6 or sometimes a 6 1/2 for over 20 years and now my feet won't cooperate with me about anything! I gave these to my friend who has a smaller foot and they fit her perfectly. She loves them and says they are very comfortable. We are all going to the beach in the beginning of August so now I will have to find an extra pair to wear on the beach because you don't want to wear your good ones and get them ruined so I was looking forward to being the ones I could use. Oh, well, Lynette will get good use out of them.

These are the champagne ones that I was telling you about that looked like a shimmery beige. What do you think? It actually looks nice on the models foot because it gave it a blended foot that looked better than I thought it would. The Flip Flops are available in 4 sizes for women and men so go check out the sizing chart that they have available.
