Uncle Milton Hatchers Review & Giveaway ** Closed**

I know all the Moms out there have heard of Dinosaur Train, which is a Jim Henson TV show and that Uncle Milton's has permission from them to create toys for children. For those who haven't, they are a great learning tool toy company that is simply amazing! Dinosaur Train is only one of many toys that Uncle Milton's make but for my grandson, that is the only one he cares about because he is obsessed with Dinosaurs. I thought he would outgrow it as time goes on but he hasn't so far. He will be 6 in August and still loves them just as much as he did several years ago when all of this fascination started.

Hatchers is one of the great toys/learning tools that Uncle Milton's came up with to show how Dinosaurs came into being. Originally, I had hoped to send these to my grandson and let him and his mom take the pictures as they developed, but his mom is seriously ill, and I did not feel it was appropriate to send a set of toys to them so that they could document how these grew. They do not live in the same state as I do so it's not like I can go there and do it or I would. So, I asked permission from Uncle Milton's to let me use their images that they had on site.

I am so sorry you won't be able to see the "real" progression but I hope you understand.

This is how they look when you first get them before you do anything. (I did not open them because I am going to send them hopefully for his birthday in August when things have calmed down). So, I did not want to ruin the whole process for him. Looks like in this one we got Tiny, which is the 2nd one from the left at the top in case you can't see it on the box. I think James would have had a ball with these. If I thought I could wait and do this I would but I wanted one of you to have these before Easter because it is an egg shaped toy in the beginning. I hope you guys have a wonderful experience sharing the Hatchers on or before Easter.

What you do carefully take the egg out the plastic container and put the egg in a large glass of water that is room temperature. Don't do cold water or hot water, please. In about 24-48 hours, Tiny will crack through the egg and grow larger. You can remove Tiny from the glass when she has stopped growing. Go ahead and throw the egg shells in the trash.

Tiny will return to her original size if left out of the water. She grows again when you place her back into the water! She can grow up to 4 times her size! I would have loved to have seen this experiment.

Oh, this is not recommended for children under 3 years old as there are small parts. There are a total of 4 different Dinosaur characters and besides Tiny there is Buddy, who is the other one we got and is the orange one to the left at the top picture, then Shiny is after Tiny (blueish color) and lastly there is Don. It all sounds like alot of fun for your child and I hope you and your family enjoy watching them grow.

Besides the Hatchers, there is Dino Poop, Mini Dino Projector, Train Station Scale, Old Smoky Volcano, Dino Track Discovery Pack and Ned Brachiosaurus Periscope in the Dinosaur Train Series.

Besides the Dinosaur Train, there are way to many other series to tell you about so please visit Uncle Milton and discover what else that they have in store for you and your children to enjoy and learn about.
