Dr. Lee, who invented the ergonomic pen was very gracious to send me a pack of three pens to try out and see what I thought. When I first got them and put one in my hand to write it did take some getting used to but that little grayish black rubber that is all around the pen? Well, it feel so soft and easy on my fingers and the pain has gradually been decreasing and I don't have to put so much pressure on my hands and fingers while writing! I love them!
You can also get them in three ink colors: black, blue and red. I got the black ink and I do love it but my favorite color to write with is blue so maybe next time when I need to order more I will try the blue ink. Isn't it funny how we get attached to a certain color for writing? I don't know why I love blue ink over black, well, maybe I do a little. Blue is a calm serene color and it is the color of the ocean and the ocean also calms me.
The UGlee Pens above are the three pack that I got and I also found out something I did not know, that you can order ink refills instead of ordering new pens! You can get a set of 10 refills for $15.00! That is alot cheaper than ordering packs of three pens for $19.99. Unless you just needed more of the ergonomic pens for more family members, it is better to just order ink refills in any of the colors you like!
Dr. Lee has several videos you can watch where he is talking with several different media outlets and his UGlee Pen was also on that famous daytime show called The Doctors TV Show! The UGlee Pen weighs less than 1/2 ounce which is what makes it so easy to hold onto along with the fact that they made the material to fit the contours of your hand for easier writing, so that you aren't griping the pen, it is griping to you! Can you tell how much I love it? You don't know how much pressure this takes off of my hands. The more I write with a regular hard pen the worse my writing gets because it would start to hurt and I just wanted to get it over with and would just rush through and half of the time I could not even tell what I wrote, let alone someone else trying to figure out what I just wrote!
Here is what Dr. Lee says about his "comfort pen":
As a medical student, I wrote volumes in terms of notes. In medicine, medical notes are all hand written. I averaged 20 full pages of hand written notes a day... day in and day out for years.Hey, don't take my word for it, they have a section called Testimonials and you will see for yourself who all uses the UGlee Pen and how it has affected their lives for the better. Dr. Lee says his Ergonomic Pen helps those with MS, CTS and Arthritis (like me).
You can imagine how my hand kept cramping up! I spent a lot of time and money looking for a comfortable pen. After trying what I believe to be every pen out there, I failed painfully to find even one!
I was frustrated because most pens were not designed for comfort at all. The few that were listed as "comfort pen" were obviously mislabeled.
I was determined to create my own pen - one that would meet my expectations of comfort. Since then, I have spent over eight years to create the first truly comfortable pen. The pursuit of pen comfort became a hobby... no, an obsession during this eight year period. I dedicated an inordinate amount of my own time and resources in this endeavor.
Luckily, I am blessed with an extremely patient and understanding wife - our garage is full of various machinery, pen prototypes, and pen materials collected over the years!
My drive to create the ultimate comfort pen led me to go as far as to study the structure of the human hand using X-ray and researching the attachment and function of hand muscles to design the perfect grip.
The result is the UGLee Pen. A pen that is not only the most comfortable pen, but is physician designed to be the most comfortable ergonomic pen around.
UGLee Pens has been so nice to offer one winner their own set of UGLee Pens! Color selection is per their choice so you won't be able to pick a color. Open to the U.S. only.
