Soap and Glory Products Review

I found a great new company I would love to tell you about today called Soap and Glory! I ran across them somewhere on the web as I was searching for bath products and thought the name was unique and some of the products really looked interesting so you know me, I just shot off an email on an impulse and actually got a "yes" back on a review only so I won't be able to do a giveaway on these great products but I hope that you go over and look them over anyway because I bet you will find some products that you, too, would love to try.

Here is what I got to review:

1. Scrub 'em and Leave 'em Body Buff
2. Clean on Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel
3. The Daily Smooth Body Butter

I mean, the names alone, make you curious about them, don't you think? I thought so anyway and I was very pleasantly surprised and happy that I got some really nice products by just taking that impulse!

This rich and smooth body butter is exactly right when it says it has an amazingly effective dry skin formula because I have very dry skin and this body butter goes on so nice and silky smooth without your skin having that greasy slimy feel. This body butter has Rosehip Seed Oil and Cocoa Butter to help moisturize even the driest of skins and it has their signature scent, Mist You Madly, which is a super clean that makes everyone around you think that you just stepped out of the shower.

I fell in love with the fragrance that is in this luxurious body butter because it is light and airy without being overpowering. I will usually get an awful headache if I am around someone who has poured too much fragrance on or has a god awful smell but this one has kept me headache free so that is saying alot about Mist You Madly. A little goes a long way so you won't need much!

They have several other body lotions and creams to choose from like The Righteous Butter that is scented with their Original Pink fragrance, along with Butter Yourself Super Rich Smoothing Body Cream, The Glow Lotion and The Righteous Body Butter Lotion. Each one has a distinct scent and each one has a different degree of how thick or thin the body butter or lotion is so you won't have a problem finding the right one for you.

You are gonna really love this one if you like scrubs like I do! It has babassu oil, sea salt and moisturizing jojoba and mandarin oils. Scented with our Mist You Madly fragrance. I really appreciated the fact that they sent me things that all have that wonderful scent so that I did not have to have conflicting smells on and could layer it if need be. Just scoop out a handful and go to work on your skin and feel the softness right away.

Once you are done and have rinsed off, put some of the body butter on also and you will smell as if you had gone to some expensive spa for the day! They have several scrubs to choose from it looks like, for instance Flake Away Scrub, Sugar Crush Body Scrub, Pulp Ficton Body Scrub, The Breakfast Scrub and the Scrub Actually!

I guess I should have started with the Clean On Me Shower Gel but, oh, heck, might as well leave it the way it is! Most people would have started with the shower and ended with the body butter. But you get the picture, right? Now, this is the only product that they sent me in the Original Pink scent and I like it too, just not as much as Mist You Madly. Original Pink smells like you really and truly just stepped out of a shower on the beach! That is what it reminded me of, sand, sea and suntan lotion all mixed into one.

According to their description it actually has real mandarin peel extract along with having the bonus built in body lotion. This gel makes a really thick and luxurious lather so you won't need much to make yourself feel pampered. Besides the one I got to try them had Clean Girls, Foam Call and Calm One Calm All Bubble Bath! See, I told you that you would have alot to choose from!

On top of that, they sell skincare, haircare, cosmetics, fragrances, deordorants, Bronzing and Exfoliators! Lots to choose from but won't go into all of that since I did not review anything out of there, so I would not want to tell you something about any product that I haven't reviewed or tried myself. I was just giving you a heads up on what all they have besides the 3 wonderful products I got to try ahead of you.

Here is a little bit about the company that I found under About Us. I had to leave some out so make sure you go read the rest of the story:
Soap & Glory has been supporting the Clean of England since 2006, when founder and serial suds-loving entrepreneur Marcia Kilgore used her cosmetic chemistry savvy to bring, fearless, and fantastically formulated bath, beauty, and body products to the British. Kilgore is widely renowned as the skincare expert’s expert. At 26, she opened her first big business – New York’s famous Bliss Spa. She’s performed thousands of treatments on her ‘regulars’, top beauty editors, and an A-list roster of celebrities (including Madonna, Demi Moore, Calvin Klein, Cameron Diaz, Uma Thurman and Oprah). She can tell you WHAT REALLY WORKS, and knows what lifts a skincare, body or cosmetic formulation from average to fabulous. Most importantly, she believes that a good laugh can take off as many years as a good ‘lift’.

Within weeks of Soap & Glory’s first launch, the word – and the gloss – on almost everybody’s lips was the (now iconic) super-plumping Sexy Mother Pucker™. Soon after, Soap & Glory’s Righteous Butter™ Body Butter was voted Britain’s Best Body Butter* and our Make Yourself Youthful™ anti-aging peptide serum took The Times beauty awards gold star. The bar was set high. And every single Soap & Glory product that followed has been brilliant.
Mary Bearden personally reviewed these products. I did not receive any monetary compensation for my review, just a sample product. All opinions are mine and belong to me solely. My thoughts and opinions may differ from yours. Mary Bearden and her cranky camera took the photo used in this review.
