Longview Farms Emu & Goat Milk Sponsor Spotlight Review

I reviewed this company way back when I was first getting started and she was so very nice and kind to send me a day moisturizer to review. So, when I was thinking about Earth Day, I knew she would be perfect for the part. Her name is Christine and the company is called Longview Farms. You are gonna love this company and all of their fine goat's milk and emu oil that they use in alot of their soaps and other products. The soaps below are in what she calls the Soap Lovers package, well, yep, that's me, a soap lover! Here is what I got to review:

1. All Natural Emu Oil Soap in Ambrosia
2. Emu Oil & Goat's Milk Soap in Rose
3. Emu Oil & Goat's Milk in Vanilla

I have to tell you these are some really awesome looking and smelling soaps. I don't know how or when it started but somewhere along the way I have become addicted to bath products! I can't stop myself every time I go somewhere I gravitate towards body washes, soaps, hand soaps, etc. The smells make me want to take showers several times a day. Even Charlie, my yorkie, loves the stuff. Every time I take a shower and put my lotion on here he comes a running and wants to lick it all off! I am totally serious! He will lick every bit of it off so now I wait until he has gone to bed at night to wash my hands, put on my favorite lotion or body cream and even my face creams he seems to like pretty darn good also!

I started with the All Natural Emu Oil Soap in Ambrosia and I learned something new!! Do you know what all is in the Ambrosia to give it that exotic sexy smell? Well, now I do! They are sweet orange, patchouli, bergamot and ylang ylang. No wonder it smelled familiar but I could not place it and now I am over the moon! You don't know how many times I have picked up that box and smelled it and my whole body would say ah...ha....!

This is the Ambrosia Emu Oil Soap. It has a slight pinkish tint in some places.

Next, I tried the Emu Oil and Goats Milk in the Rose scent. Now, let me see if I can figure out the best way to describe this alluring scent. If you love to smell roses when they are blooming, then this is gonna be your favorite! I have about 15 rose brushes outside and love to stop and smell each and every one of them. They all have their own distinct smell and they can bring out the romantic in all of us.
Oh, anyone should love vanilla! It is one of the most common scents out there that doesn't seem to hurt anyone's sinus's or throat problems. Even I do very well with vanilla with my seasonal allergies. It is a nice clean smell and the only unusual way the LongView Farms did was make theirs a dark molasses like color. I am used to vanilla scented soaps being sorta off white but I wanted you to know that so that when I show you the picture you will see what I mean.

Oh, another thing, they are wrapped really tight in some kind of plastic and I did not want to unwrap it so that all the smells disappears so I did not take them off for the pictures. I want the actual fragrances to last as long as possible.

Besides the soaps, Longview Farms has facial creams, lip balms, hair care products, salves for minor cuts, burns, insect bites and more. Then there is the Derma Ease which is for people with Psoriasis and Eczema. It sounds really wonderful and I hope if you or a loved one has either of these problems that you give this soap a try. I left the link up above so that you can go and read more about it.

Oh, and they have Pet Products for your other half of the family. There is also a section of Books for you to buy to teach the children about organic products and how they work. They even have a Men's section if you need some ideas for your guy if he is sensitive to alot of things, maybe he could use some of the products. Here is another incentive to check out LongView Farms; Free Shipping if your order is $50 or more!

Now, here is the real reason I started looking into Emu Oil soaps because I saw this on Longview's Farm. I did not copy all of it so go read what she has to say. She also has some for other disorders and if you have one, she may have some articles you might be interested in.

Read what she says about Fibromyalgia:
What's the link between Emu Oil and Fibromyalgia? Emu oil has been proven to be an all-natural anti-inflammatory. Consumers are reporting relief from the use of Emu Oil as an all-over massage product for fibromyalgia. Additionally, there are Emu oil based products on the market targeting pain relief, such as Blue Pain Relief (tm), Muscle Relief Roll-On and Sports Rub. These products combine Emu oil with other potentially beneficial ingredients to help ease the pains associated with fibromyalgia, arthritis, and muscle strains/sprains. Emu oil, in addition to being anti-inflammatory, has the ability to pull other beneficial components deep within the skin, helping them to go to work faster to relieve pain. There are also ingestible Emu oil capsules available, such as "Inner Relief" and with Glucosamine and Chondroitin to help "from the inside out" with inflammation. Emu oil is full of EFAs, which are necessary for many bodily functions. You may want to experiment with several different Emu oil based products to find out which one works best for you.
The link I provided for the Fibromyalgia is also where you will see a list of ailments that you can click on and it will take you to the page you need to be on to find some solutions that might work for you. Good Luck!

Here is a little History on LongView Farms that I found:
Longview Farms was established in 1992 on a 169 acre farm in northeastern Pennsylvania. Originally we ran approximately 200 head of emu on this farm, and sold Emu oil and Emu oil based products imported from Australia. At that time, there were no companies manufacturing Emu oil products within the U.S.

As we grew, we diversified into an emu oil rendering facility. We created our original line of quality Emu oil products in 1993 - 1994, being the first company to create and market a fully-encapsulated Emu oil gel cap as a dietary supplement.

We have since moved our business to a smaller location and no longer raise Emus. We purchase our raw materials from others who raise Emu as a viable livestock. Today we offer approximately 60 products containing or relating to Emu oil. Our quality Emu oil products are offered for sale and shipped throughout the world. As part of our recent growth, we have become a partner in an Emu oil molecular distillation facility in China. This partnering assures Longiew Farms can continue to supply quality Emu oil in the U.S. and throughout the world. This partnering was necessary because the U.S. farmer cannot currently supply the crude emu oil needed by Longview Farms.

I love different bath and body products too. I generally take showers but I do love goo smelling soaps, lotions, scrubs, etc. And I am interested in the Emu oil being an anti-inflammatory. I have arthritis and other inflammation problems so this is intriguing to me.
