Tortuga Chocolate Rum Cake Sponsor Spotlight Review

Oh, you are gonna love this next company and what they will be adding to my Valentine's Day Giveaway Package that starts on February 2, which is tomorrow! Tortuga sent me a Chocolate Rum Cake to review and the winner of my package will also get a 33 oz. Tortuga Chocolate Rum Cake!

I hope you are hungry because that is their biggest cake they sell! Tortuga's Rum Cakes are baked fresh daily in the Cayman Islands with only the finest natural ingredients. The only preservative used is their specially blended "5-year-old", oak barrel aged Tortuga Gold Rum. Each cake is individually hand glazed then vacuum packed, ensuring a shelf life of 6 months, or indefinitely if refrigerated or frozen.

I doubt it will last that long if you have alot of men around, they are gonna gobble this thing up right away! And you can definitely taste the rum in this cake, too! I was feeling slightly giddy but that was because I ate it on an empty stomach and then went back for a little more. Won't do that again! But, really, these cakes are so moist and the aroma of rum will hit you smack in the face! Lord, just thinking about it makes me want another one. I would love to have a bottle of the rum that they make this cake in because it is some of the best tasting rum I have ever had. It adds just the right oomph to the cake and it being chocolate doesn't hurt either. We gave one neighbor a small slice of the cake and I thought she was gonna take the rest of the cake and run! Oh, Happy Days Are Hear Again! Remember that song?

We did not get to try these again this time because they had sold out for the Christmas holidays but I did try them last year and they are really awesome! If you ever get the chance to try Tortuga's Turtles with Sea Salt, grab it and go! These are very addicting! Rich, milk chocolate covered rum caramel with pecans and a sprinkling of sea salt. 12 premium hand-crafted chocolates come to each box. And you will want more. We sure wished at the time that we had gotten a bigger box.

Wow, you can even get Caribbean Rum Punch from Tortuga! Doesn't that look tempting? Tortuga has so many products it is hard to know where to even begin. They also have an abundance of sauces that you can cook with or use on top of steaks. You can buy them individually or in boxes with either 6 or 7 sauces. Who would have known that so much can be done with Rum? Well, now you know! They even have their own honey and Gourmet Pepper Jelly which my husband loves! I even found Conch Chowder Soup! That is one of my favorite soups! I love just about anything that has any kind of seafood in it or even just a touch, I will still love it. I think Seafood Soups are just about the best of any soups except maybe homemade chicken noodle!
