1. (2) boxes of Rosemary Lentil Crackers
2. (2) bags of Cucumber Dill Baked Chips
3. (2) bags of Parmesan Garlic Baked Chips
4. (2) bags of Rosemary Herb Baked Chips
Oh, my, where to start, okay, let's go with Rosemary Lentil Crackers. These are really flavorful small little crackers that are filled with protein from the lentils. Best part of all is that they are Gluten Free and are baked with all natural ingredients. Lentils are among the world’s healthiest foods and are high in protein, iron, vitamin B1 and essential minerals for a healthy diet. Put a slice of Gouda cheese on this cracker and your mouth will burst with flavor!
My favorite was the Cucumber Dill Baked Chips. I have always been partial to dill flavored anything and these were no exception. The baked chips are high protein, nutritious lentils, garbanzo and adzuki beans. All of the baked chips are very crisp and will break with a distinct crack that tells you they are highly fresh. One thing I can't stand is to get a stale cracker! We went with a cucumber dill dip that I make which is made of plain yogurt and then dill and grated cucumbers and shallots to make this wonderful creamy dip and these two were perfect together.
Mike liked the Parmesan Garlic Baked Chips the best. He is crazy over cheese flavored products and this was no exception. The Parmesan Garlic crackers had a slight zing to them and I haven't placed it yet but I will. I also found out that they are 70% less fat than real chips and that they are a good source of iron and fiber! Who knew that such a little cracker could pack such a wallop!
These crackers are also made from the lentils, garbanzo and adzuki beans. (that is where all your fiber is coming from) And I do have to admit I liked them pretty good myself especially with the Gouda cheese that Mike bought home one night to eat with them. He had to eat the smoked Gouda my himself because I wasn't too keen on smoked cheese. It tends to make me swell and gives me heartburn so I stay away.
We topped it off with some Asiago Cheese and that really was a huge hit! There is so much you can do with these chips and crackers. I am thinking we might try a cold cut sliced small and thin and topped with a slice of either Colby Jack Cheese or White Cheddar Cheese would go good on this particular cracker or chip.
Isn't that great considering that they are all gluten free also? I also found the Recipe page on their website and there was a really good Hummus Dip that would be awesome on any of the crackers or chips.
