Food Should Taste Good Review

I was very fortunate to be able to do this review of some very good quality snack chips. I had signed up for email newsletters from them and one day it clicked in my head that as I am slowly building up my reviews, I should contact them the next time they sent me an email. And that is exactly what I did. I really did not expect to hear back from them until maybe months down the road when they would do some ads and reviews with the bloggers who are bigger than me and have more experience.

So, I was shocked that the next day they emailed me for my address! I was so excited. You have to know me and know that I am really a shy quiet person and I hate asking for anything but I knew if I did not put myself out there nothing would happen. I am so glad I chose Food Should Taste Good as one of the first product reviews. They have been so amazingly gracious to send me 5 different flavors to taste and experiment with.

1.) Chocolate - this was the first one my husband and I decided to try first. We are huge chocolate lovers! We were a little surprised that it was not as chocolaty as we thought but in a strange way it was better. There was a hint of chocolate but it had a salty taste mixed with the tortilla chip to give you a weird like tostito chip taste with an edge of chocolate. We decided that we liked it!

2.) Cheddar & White Cheddar - is our 2nd favorite flavor and we really loved these. Who could not love chips and cheddar together? Throw in some homemade salsa with picante and we were in heaven! We also tried it with a crab dip and it rocked our world! You have to understand something, we eat light meals and then munch most of the time.

We don't munch in huge quantities, more like grazing. My gastro doctor is the one who started that. I have very bad acid reflux and the heartburn's are awful along with my IBS, so I have to be very careful what I eat. He suggested that I eat 6 small mini meals a day instead of 2 or 3 huge meals which is where all my problems come in.

So, these chips were like a lifesaver for me. I could eat healthy by choosing veggie dips, low fat dips and other various dips to eat with these wonderful chips!

3.) The Works - This is my husband's favorite. It is a little more on the spicy side so I had to stay clear of this one. I did sample a few chips which was enough for me to know that I could not eat many or I would have problems. But, he loved them and I know alot of people love food on the spicy side so if that is you, then you will love this one also! It has garlic, poppy seeds, caraway seeds and onion. You could use just about any dip with this one, especially a good picante salsa.

4.) Cantina - This one is like a true Mexican restaurant's chips. They are crunchy and fresh and just have that homemade taste to it. We really loved this one because we could all eat it. Spinach dip and salsa would both be great dips for this one along with any kind of cheese dip. This would be a good one for the kids because it is a basic tostito chip but with a little unique flavor or it may be the crispness that sets it apart from the others.

Now, I only got to review 5 flavors but they have actually got 16 flavors in all so I am sure you will be able to find one that suits you or your whole family. I also learned that they are gluten free and are considered vegan. I am not sure if gluten free helps with my IBS but I do tend to lean more towards it here in the last 6-7 months just to see if it does make a difference.

Some days I feel better and some I don't. But I am able to eat a little better than before by mixing gluten free products in with ones that aren't. Food Should Taste Good is also Kosher, MSG free, dairy and lactose free (except for the Cheddar & White Cheddar), cholesterol and trans fat free.

I also learned that they do make charitable donations (in the form of giving their chips to help your fund raising) and you can get all the information you need to do that on their website. The link to that particular subject is listed under the Frequently Asked Questions. It is nice to know that companies do give back more than I think we give them credit for.

Some can do it thru money and some can do it by offering their products. It does not really matter which way, it is the gesture and the heart felt way that it is offered that matters.

The company started in 2006 by Pete Lescoe in Needham, Massachusetts because he wanted to offer snacks that were better for us, tasted great, had healthy ingredients and were a sophisticated flavor. The chips are baked, not fried with great flavors to satisfy anyone. They can be found in gourmet shops, grocery stores and natural stores. All of this information can be found on their website and by getting in touch with them.

Here is some of the ways you can get in touch with them:

Dr. Jules Nabet Skincare Products Review

I thought I would introduce you to a new line of skincare that I have never heard of until I entered a contest and won one of the products called Slimming Act on another Blogger's site and it never came and the blogger tried her best but what we did not know was there was some kind of glitch on the other end and they did not know it nor did the blogger.

I really had only wanted to get the prize that I had won so I was shocked that when the package came it had 3 other bottles of products for me to try because they felt bad that it had taken almost 2 months to get my prize to me.

So, as a way of thanking them for being so kind and gracious, I decided to write a review of the products once I had tried them for a few weeks. They did not ask me to write this review. I am doing this of my own free will and accord because they did a very nice thing that they did not have to do and when someone does something nice for me, I try to do the same.

Dr. Jules Nabet is a leading doctor in his specialized field of aesthetic medicines practicing in his clinics located in Paris and London. And now they are being introduced here in America!

1.) Zen Lotion by Dr. Jules Nabet - this is a lotion that contains Vitamin C and Oxygen that targets your skin to help it appear younger, smoother and firmer. The White Lily gently cleanses and purifies your skin to reveal a youthful and radiant complexion.

I was skeptical at first but I can tell you that after a few nights of spraying this on my clean skin and gently rubbing the lotion all over including my neck, it was the smoothest I have ever felt my skin feel in a long time. Use it both in the morning and at night for the maximum benefits. It is truly a product I will continue to use in the future. Cost is $39.00.

2.) Zen Attiude (Serenity Care) - This is a potent hydrating cream that helps improve the skin's appearance and at the same time protecting providing protection for your skin. The ingredients include Yam, Soya, Vitamins E & F along with Siberian Ginseng to combat environmental signs of stress, unwanted toxins and pollutants and temp changes.

This is an ideal product for women who travel alot or lead demanding lifestyles which we all do at different times in our lives. I have RA and Fibromyalgia and RA sucks alot of my nutrients out of my body and this cream help even out the damage done by my RA. I don't feel so dried out and parched. This cream is designed for you to use morning and night for the best results. Cost is $69.00.

3.) L. Boxin Cream - This is a night cream only because the key ingredient Lysedines that works to help your skin achieve a more younger, smoother and firmer looking face. They recommend using it along with L. Boxin Mask. I did not get this one so I can't tell you how much better it would work. I only know I used all three of the products and my face felt tighter and smoother almost like it used to in my 20's.

One of the other reasons to use this at night is because of Hyaluronic Acid (biotechnological quality). It might cause your skin to be sensitive to sunlight if you used it during the day. The price of this one is $62.00.

4.) Slimming Act - Slimming Act works to prevent the look of aging by smoothing the skin and promoting the look of a firmer complexion. It has organic silica combined with pure caffeine to help promote smooth skin. It can be used on the face and neck but I used it on my thighs and I have noticed that they don't jiggle as much as they used to.

Of course, I know I have used several other brands that use caffeine to shrink pores so that you see smoother skin but this one actually made my skin seem smoother and a little tighter.

I have not used these long enough to give you the total outcome but I wanted to post this review now because it has given me some results where as in other products I never saw any difference. So, even after 2 weeks it has started to do what it claims so I would imagine in another couple of weeks my legs and my face will really look great!

I would definitely recommend this line of skincare products to my friends and family because they are great products but more so because they have a wonderful customer service department that really cared about my not getting my prize when I should have.

They were gracious enough to let me try another 3 products on top of the Slimming Act and to me that speaks louder volume than anything else. They wanted me to have a good experience with their products and now I can see why!

Clearly Fresh Bags Review

I was sent these bags to try by a company called Clearly Fresh Bags. They made sure I had plenty as the packages come with 10 bags each. I must admit I am a little late in getting this review done because I thought I would be original and not use the bananas like they have on the package.

I thought we always have tomatoes laying around and they spoil before my husband can eat them. I thought, okay, here is the perfect opportunity to stretch those tomatoes! Little did I know, these bags perform so well, it took forever for the one in the bag to show any signs of distress and the one left on the counter was fading faster so I had to go ahead and stop the experiment.

Clearly you can see the tomato that was in the bag is the left one and the one on the right was the one left on the counter. I had put the tomato in the bag on June 23,2011 and today’s date is July 5,2011. The one left on the counter already has rotten spots on it and the one in the bag is still nice and pretty. I hope you can tell my husband is very happy because now he can have tomatoes that will hang around for awhile without having to go to the store every time he wants a sandwich or hamburger. Thank you Clearly Fresh Bags for allowing me to test these great bags for you!

Clearly Fresh® bags are large clear zip bags (12” X 14”),with a breathable 3 inch square membrane on one side. Each pack contains 10 bags. The reason the Clearly Fresh bags are unique is the use of BreatheWay technology. BreatheWay allows fresh fruits and vegetables to create their own ideal atmospheres for natural storage life extension.

For the most part, your fruits and veggies should last up to 50% longer than without the use of the bags. Do keep in mind that some fruits and veggies do spoil quicker than others like strawberries and it is best if you don’t wash them before putting them in the bags.

I knew this from using regular storage bags that if you wash and don’t get all the moisture off the fruit or veggie will spoil quicker.

Also, if you buy from a Farmers Market and the produce is fresh, it could be that the produce has been sitting for awhile out in the open. I do want to say that for the most part we buy organic tomatoes and they will spoil quicker than the others due to the farmer not spraying all the chemicals on them and the one in the bag did last longer than the one that did not.

I would recommend this to my friends and family because I think it would save you some money. If you eat alot of fruits and veggies this would definitely benefit you because it will make your produce last longer and less trips to the store is what I like the best especially with gas prices on the rise,we need all the help we can get to keep what food we do have at home healthy and beautiful to eat!

For more information on the company and their bags I have included their website, email, mailing address and phone number. They also show you different types of produce and how they fared when put to the test.
