Kroger's Truly Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookie Review

I have to admit that this one really had me stumped!

I am usually not a big fan of generic type food so when I was offered the opportunity to try Kroger's brand of Chocolate Chip Cookies, I was really not going to do it then remembered I had thought that way about their Private Selection and when I tried it, I actually liked the food, so I decided to go ahead and at least try the cookies.

I was totally shocked when I got about half of the cookie down and was very surprised to find out I even liked Kroger's Truly Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies!

I normally like soft and chewy cookies and this one was actually crunchy like. Boy, was I ever wrong! Look at these babies and tell me they don't have your mouth watering:
WhooHoo! The picture actually came out pretty good! I have been having alot of camera issues lately and had to borrow a camera for these pictures so I could get my review done.

I was really nervous the pictures would come out awful but here they are, just as beautiful as in real life.

These are a pretty good size cookie and man have they got the flavor to back it up! I have tried really hard to eat just one every couple of days and was doing pretty good until tonight, I actually had 3!

That should tell you how much I love them. They are somewhat crunchy but in a good way. They were truly amazing for a store bought cookie and I would recommend them to all of my family and friends. Although they were not soft and chewy, the taste of these wonderful chocolate chip cookies made up for that!

My husband likes all of his desserts to be warm if not hot so he took his cookies and placed them on a plate and microwaved them so that they would be nice and warm. When he took them out they had melted chocolate running out in a few places but boy, were they ever good!

So, give it a try and see how you like them! We are not a milk & cookies lover but for those of you who do, these would be perfect for that! Mike likes to eat his warm cookies with a cup of coffee, and me, well, I will eat Kroger's Truly Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookie with just about anything! And one other tidbit: they have tons of chocolate chips in them so you will taste the chocolate with every last bite!

Kroger's Truly Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies are made with real butter, no preservatives added, and chocolate chips are the number 1 ingredient. Can't get any simpler than that in my book. The other Truly Awesome products in this line include: Vitamin Enriched Water, Bite Size Frosted Shredded Wheat Cereal, Truly Awesome Lowfat Yogurt, Lowfat Treats and Frozen Waffles
Kroger's Quality Guarantee:
We promise products your family will love every time. If you are not delighted, let us know. We will make it right with a replacement or refund at your store.

I have shopped at Kroger's for more years than I can count and I know good quality, good prices and good customer service when I see it! I have never had a bad experience at Kroger. A few times I have had to return an item that did not taste right or some other issue but it was never Kroger's fault. We found out it was the manufacturer's problem or issue but Kroger kept it's promise and either refunded me my money or gave me a replacement. I would recommend my Kroger to anyone who lives in my area and I normally don't do recommendations.

Mary Bearden personally reviewed these products. I did not receive any monetary compensation for my review, just a sample product. All opinions are mine and belong to me solely. My thoughts and opinions may differ from yours. The pictures used in this review were taken by me with no copies being made from the manufacturer's website. I am a BzzAgent and they provided me with coupons & products to experience Kroger's Truly Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookie.
