12 Days of Christmas Sponsor Pureology Shampoo & Conditioner Review

I know most of you know that I love Pureology's products so it will come as no surprise that I have more products I want to share with you tonight. These are in the Antifade Complex series which helps keep your color treated hair from washing out faster. I use these because I guess I am vain in that I am not ready for grey hair! I don't have tons of them but they are trying to take over slowly and so I decided it was not my time yet to have grey hair and I needed products that would help my color last longer. Do you know how much it costs to color your hair these days?

Yeah, I know I could do it myself at home and believe me, I tried it. It comes out not looking right, doesn't last long and I hate it!! So, I do splurge every 4-6 months and get it done at a salon. How am I able to last that long? Well, by using products that don't wash my color out! Here are the three that I got to review from Pureology:

1. Holiday Hydrate Gift Set
2. Perfect4Platinum Petites
3. SuperSmooth Petites

I have to tell you that all of these products are amazing! I had already tried the Antifade Shampoo and Conditioner that were in the set with the ColourStylist Strengthening Control Zero Dulling Hairspray (which I have not used or reviewed). There was also a beautiful rhinestone headband included! The whole set would make a great gift for that special someone on your list. The hairspray was perfect for me as I don't like to use too much because your hair gets stiff, but this hairspray just gave me great control without that sticky feeling. I hold it pretty far away from my head and then spray so that helps also.

Both of the petite sets are great for travelling. The Supersmooth shampoo and conditioner are similar to the large sizes but they come in a cute gold colored zippered bag that you can use as a makeup bag once you have used up the products. The Perfect4Platinum is for women who have a tendency towards blond type hair. I am a little of both since I color my hair and have streaks of brownish red and blond in my hair. At other times if the hair salon is over zealous I have come out with a total head of blond! I then use the brown shampoos and conditioners to tone it down a tad so I don't look like a ghost! I could tell you some hair horror stories that professional hair dressers have made on me but we will save that for another time.

Now, isn't that a cool looking little bag? I think it would make a great travelling makeup bag or you may have other ideas that might be just as great. The mini sets of shampoo and conditioner are the same as the bigger sizes that I reviewed a few weeks back, these are just travelling mini sets.

The Supersmooth set of shampoo & conditioner has natural smoothing ingrediends of Camellia Oil, Sesame Oil and Organic Shea butter. And the ThermalAntiFade Complex's exclusive blend of potent antioxidants and full spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreens maximize colour retention and protect from heat styling damage. This is used to be called the SuperStraight System. So that will kinda give you an idea of just what this powerful shampoo & conditioner can do.

Perfect4Platinum is for highlighted and fragile, blonde hair. Formulated with Keravis, the strengthening formulas fill in gaps on the hair strand while a blend of chamomile, lemon and coriander extracts condition to soften hair's texture, clarify for increased brightness and nourish to magnify shine.

So whichever hair you have both of these sets pack a powerful punch and help your hair be all that it can be. I just know that mine is softer now and more manageable. It also feels silky smooth and smells great!

Pureology has been gracious enough to give one of my reader's the SuperSmooth Petite Collection for the 12 Days of Gifts Galore (or 12 Days of Christmas as I have been calling it!) Starts on November 25th and ends December 6th. Good Luck!
