Lluvia Deep Nourishing Oil Review & Giveaway **Closed**

I was given a rare opportunity by pure luck to review Lluvia Deep Nourishing Oil from Amazon Rain. I have never heard of this company and by accident another blogger emailed me a link to go to and said they were looking for bloggers to try their products. I really did not think I had any chance of being selected since the announcement has been several weeks ago.

I missed out on getting the whole collection but was able to get the Deep Nourishing Oil. If you have normal to dry skin you will absolutely love this oil! It is made from Rosehip Seed Oil, Brazil Nut Oil and Buriti Oil all found in the Amazon Rain Forest.

Buriti Oil is the richest source of beta caroteine (higher than carrot oil) and is rich with pro-vitamins and carotenoids. It is also a good source of oleic fatty acids and other essential fatty acids which supports the renewal of collagen and elastin to make our skin soft and supple. It also protects and soothes the skin. Rosehip Seed Oil is an good source of Vitamin A (trans-retinoic acid) in it's natural form.

It also contains fatty acids to help slow the aging process and smooth the appearance of uneven skin tone. Brazil Nuts are high in fatty acids, amino acids, zinc, Vitamins A & E and selenium, an important antioxidant. Which means Brazil Nut Oil lubricates and moisturizes your skin and helps prevent dryness and helps you achieve a clear complexion.

When I first put some in the palm of my hand to rub on my face I could tell immediately that it had alot of oil in it from the color, the feel and the smell. It is a little hard to describe the smell. It does not smell like olive oil but almost reminded me of olives but with a nutty smell mixed in. I smoothed it on my face (it does not take much) and my skin drank it up immediately. (I have very dry skin due to low thyroid and not drinking enough water).

I wish I could drink more water but every time I try it makes me sick at my stomach and I swell. So, I need products like this that helps me put back some of the things I lose from not drinking water. Oils also penetrate my skin faster and better than lotions do. As does serums. So, when purchasing skincare, I go more for the serums and oils because I get better results.

Lately, I have been experimenting with products that are natural and made from good products and less man made ingrediants. I have also done that with food with no preservatives but you have to eat quicker or keep in the fridge or even the freezer so they don't go bad. So, that will kinda give you an idea why I wanted to try something from the Amazon Rain Forest. I had always heard that they have found medicinal herbs and plants there and that on some people they worked. We are all different so what might work for me, might be different for you. But I think if you want to have great skin naturally, this is one company that you might want to check out.

They have Botanical Cleansers, Crystal Exfoliator, Refreshing Mist, Camu C Serum (which I would have loved to been able to try), Replenishing Moisturizer along with what I got to review, the Deep Nourishing Oil. I bet if I could have used all these products together I would have had a really beautiful glowing face. They also make cleaning products called Clean & Green for helping you get rid of stains, grime and mildew without harming the environment.

I learned that Amazon Herb Company gives a portion of their proceeds to Olivia Newton-John's Cancer & Wellness Centre and to ACEER (Amazon Center for Environmental Education and Research). So they walk the talk, which is a good thing in our world. ACEER brings teachers and environmental education programs to the children in the Rainforest villages! Even the materials they sent me to read were made with recycled paper and the cardboard container that my Deep Nourishing Oil came in is also recycled.

To learn more you an go to this Amazon's FAQ's page and get more information about your questions. I also found a page that lists all the natural ingredients found in their products and you can read those on Amazon Rain ingredients page. I know this is suppose to be a "hot" subject, but I also found an Amazon's article explaining why they use plastic instead of glass. To really get the full effect of what Amazon Herb Company does outside of the skincare line I would suggest going to their main Amazon Herb's main page to just get a glimpse of what they are all about.

There wasn't much info on how to contact them but I do know they are headquartered in Junipter, Florida!

Here are some ways to reach out:

This sounds like a great product. I have quite dry skin, and most lotions aren't rich enough. This just might do the trick. I'd also like to try the Camu C serum. That looks like it would really make a nice difference to my skin.
