Zoobies Pet Review

I was very fortunate to be able to review one of these cute and adorable Zoobie Pets called Ping the Panda. I decided to start my review with a short video taken from the Zoobies YouTube website in case some of you do not know what a Zoobie pet is, although I am sure by now everyone knows about them and all your children have asked for one.

I picked Ping the Panda because my grandson loves teddy bears and I thought this one suited him the best.

These are the perfect gifts to give every child because they have such an imagination and can make them into whatever they want them to be. I know my grandson has been taken with Panda's ever since he saw one at the zoo. That was the other reason I wanted Ping the Panda.

As we all know these lovable creatures can be unzipped and that there is a blanket inside each one of them. I thought this would make a really appropriate present for a child entering Kindergarten because they have to take naps.

The stuffed animal can be used as the pillow and then they have their own blanket to either sleep on or to cover up with. As you can see in my next picture Ping has a very nice blanket!

Did I not tell you these were great blankets?

At first, I thought, okay, they will be really little because how much can you really put inside that animal?

Well, as you can see this blanket is big enough to even cover me when I want to take a short nap (which is very often, as I have Fibromyalgia), so I decided if I ever get the chance, I need to get myself one!

Why not? Who says they are just for kids? I think everyone should have one.

Maybe then we could all lighten up and laugh a little more and just be a kid again and enjoy our lives a little!

There are four types of Zoobies:

1.) Storytime Pals are your child's favorite character themed blanket

2.) Blankie Babies have a satin comfort corner along with a teething ring

3.) Slumber Pets come with a fleece sleeping bag

4.) Blanket Pets are the original pillow with a blanket

All of the above are as cute as they can be and there are so many different characters to choose from that you will find one to fit any need that you may have. The Blankie Babies would make great baby shower gifts to give because of the teething ring and just the comfort of having a stuffed pet.

I thought the Slumber Pet was a great idea because what kid doesn't want to have sleepovers and there is never enough beds? The Storytime Pals is an extention of your child's favorite character from a book! And lastly, the original Blanket Pet who is just there for you to use as a pillow and a blanket when your eyes get droopy and you just want to curl up with your very best friend!

Now for the history part (you thought I forgot, didn't you?): This company was founded by two brothers J.C. Smoot and Reid Smoot who by the way come from a large family of nine children! No wonder they had such great ideas on what children might like! Mostly, though it started out because with all those kids you needed to consolidate so you don't carry so much on your trips.

So, wala! As they say! You have the Blanket Pets who are both pillow and blanket. That sure would solve alot of that family's problem. Wow, nine children, people that is alot of kids!! They started the company in 2007 because they figured they had a good bit of experience in what works for children & moms.

I was surprised to find out that J.C. who is the President, has lived in China for the last 13 years and he is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. While Reid stayed in Utah where they were born and raised and is the VP of Business Development and loves to travel. They are both co-founders of the company.

The Zoobies have what they call the Zoobies Three C Mission: Convertible, Comfort and Convenience. I don't think they have to worry too much about meeting those standards because they have accomplished all that and more! They have managed to help moms out by having that 3 in 1 function so that means less clutter for us!

Wouldn't you just love to be there right now to see what they are coming up with? I checked out there About Us section and under that was Meet the Team. They have 17 people, which includes the two brothers, that forms and makes this company what it is today. It looks like they have half the company in China and the other half in Utah. I certainly can't wait to see what other new and exciting projects they have in mind later on down the road. I have a feeling they are just getting started.

There are several ways to check out the company and they are listed below:
