Bryton Pick Review

I am pleased to introduce a company called Bryton Pick to those of you who like to keep up with the latest technology regarding keeping our teeth healthy. I was sent two of these new dental picks to try out!

I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I first got them because I just could not see how they were going to go between my teeth. I did get it to go between some of my teeth but because I have had root canals and then crowns put on several of my top teeth, that is where I had the most problems.

No matter what I did it just would not slide through but that is understandable because the crowns are hopefully going to last a lifetime, I hope. And you certainly don't want them to be loose so I guess they make them fit closer and tighter than what your normal teeth might do. So, I do have to say depending on what you have had done to your teeth, these may not work.

Or at least with my teeth and given as many crowns as I have on top I could not get it to go through. It did however go through the ones that did not have crowns. Again, let me emphasize that everyone's teeth are different and you may not experience the same problem that I had.

What I did like about the picks are that they last up to 30 days before you have to throw them away. They recommend cleaning them in hot water after each use. The reason you can keep using these picks is because they are made of germ resistance stainless steel cleaning strips.

They are also made completely from recycled materials and made right here in the U.S.A. They come in a convenient credit card size pouch that you can fit into your wallet/purse/pocket and carry it with you so you are never caught with food between your teeth. They do suggest that you clean your teeth in front of a mirror and to avoid contact with the lips (you can cut them).

It is a different way to clean your teeth and they say it will probably take several times for you to get the hang of it so don't panic on the first try.

Here are a few quick tips that they recommend:

1. Tight dental contacts require more care to insert
2. Edges bend to adapt to your interdental shape
3. For the first time try it after a meal in front of a mirror
4. Removes food debris, plaque and stimulates gums to prevent gingivitis
4. Protects against tooth decay and gum inflammation
5. Make sure you keep your mouth open in a smiling position to avoid cuts
6. Gently insert either end between teeth
7. Slide between teeth inside and out

You can find Bryton Picks at Drug Fair, Meijer, Kinney Express, Path Mark, SuperFresh, A&P, Superfresh and online you can order form Amazon.com, Dentist.net, BrytonPick.com, CVS.com, Walgreens.com and Drugstore.com. You can also tell your favorite store to contact Toothguard Dental Instruments and have it shipped to your favorite store closest to you.

They come in seven different colors so you are bound to find one that fits your personality. Did you know that only 12% of our nation's population flosses their teeth? That is not a whole lot of people flossing and no wonder so many people are having problems with their teeth!

I hope this picture gives you a better idea of what it looks like. To learn more about this product or about oral health care you can email them at private@bryton.com for more answers to the many questions.

Normally I would give you a little history on the company and some more info but I have tried for several hours to get on their website and it must be down for maintenance or something so I only had the enclosed brochure to go by for the facts other than how I reviewed the product.

I do have their mailing address and contact phone number if you would like to ask them any questions. I also provided the website address and the site where you can view a video but as of the writing of this review neither were working or at least not for me.

I have Internet Explorer and if any of you have something else and are able to get on the site, please let me know.

Mailing Address:
11780 US Hwy 1 Suite 204 N
Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33408
