Teamotions Review

I want to tell all of you about a great new tea company I found while cruising the Internet for teas.

I do think I have seen this company reviewed on some other sites but I found them thru a search on teas.

And of course, since my blog is titled Mary's Cup of Tea, I decided I needed to get on the ball and try to start reviewing all the different teas that are out there.

I have to admit this was my first cold calling email on a tea review and I was terrified.

Of what, I don't know because the worse that could happen would be "no" and when I got the email saying they would be more than happy to send me some different flavors to try, I was so excited, proud and very grateful that another company had faith in me and their tea to let a new blogger try.

Here are the flavors they sent me:

*Lemon Vanilla Green Tea - Discover Joy/Feel happier and uplifted
*Citrus Strawberry White Tea - Have Hope/Renews hope and optimism
*Apple Cinnamon Chamomile - Enjoy Rest/Relax and unwind along with calmness
*Passionfruit Jasmine Gree Tea - Find Strength/Regain self confidence
*Rooibos Coconut Chai - Seek Peace/Restores inner peace and encouragement
*Vanilla Earl Grey - Achieve Clarity/Clears and calms your mind

First off, I need to remind you that these teas are loose leaf teas, not in tea bags so you will need either a strainer or a simmering teapot. I have both and either way will work. On the teapot it has it's own strainer and you just put however much you want into the strainer and then pour boiling water over that and let it simmer for about 3 minutes. Or if you have a hand held strainer, just hold that over a cup and pour boiling water over the tea.

If you want your tea stronger, let the strainer sit on top of the cup while the loose tea makes the tea stronger. I really like the flavors and don't want it that strong so I drink mine as soon as the 3 minutes are up. You can use honey or sugar to sweeten your tea or drink it without any sweetener. Whatever your preference does not matter as this tea is so flavorful it can stand on its own without any added ingredients.

The far right tea is the Vanilla Earl Grey and the one I tried first. The vanilla flavor is slight and sweet with the Earl Grey being dominant.

I loved this one very much because I am a big fan of British tea, which is a little bit stronger than American tea.

I added honey to this one so that it would not take away any of the flavors. The middle tea is the Rooibos Coconut Chai.

If you are into Chai tea, this is one of the best I have tasted in awhile!

Of course, you also have to like the taste of coconut or you won't like this tea. Again, I opted for honey in keeping with the natural flavors. I did add a touch of cream to make it more of a chai looking tea and it was almost like eating a coconut cream pie! So, if you are watching your weight and have to forgo the sweets, then this little tea will satisfy your hunger and make you feel like you ate that piece of pie! On the far left is the Citrus Strawberry White Tea.

Mmm, the possibilities of this tea is endless. I did use sugar on this one so that all I tasted was the Strawberry and Citrus. The tea will have a faint reddish color depending of course on how much you use. I did not want to cram too many pictures here so I will just tell you that the Apple Cinnamon Chamomile is so fragrant, just like the candles you get at Christmas. And the cinnamon was spot on. And boy, does it make the whole kitchen smell just like Christmas!

The Passionfruit Jasmine Green Tea is a little more subtle but with a fruity flavor that is so fine and paired with a green tea to give you one of the most natural tasting teas. This one would be for those of you who want everything to be and taste just like nature. Lastly, Lemon Vanilla Green Tea is exactly what is says it is. On this one I did something a little out of the ordinary because I like lemon in Iced Tea but not hot tea so I added as my sweetener a little more vanilla. But, if lemon is your thing, this will be perfect for you.

The thing I like most about this company is that they give everybody the possibility of having whatever flavor you fancy. We don't all like the same thing and that's a good thing because if we all liked and wanted the same flavors it would be very boring. Get out there and don't be afraid to sample something new that you have not tasted or drank. You will be surprised to find you like alot of different things that otherwise you would not have tried or experienced.

All of these teas are also meant to help you with your mental well being. I gave a brief description above when I listed the samples I was sent.

Here is a quote from the company's website that I found very interesting and explains the reason why these teas were made:

Teamotions is more than a tea company; it’s our ministry of comfort. In 2008, I lost my twin daughters just days after they were born. Struggling to cope, I found solace in tea. One day my sister Crystal said, “I wish there was something I could put in your tea to make you feel better.” Knowing nothing like that existed, we decided to create it.

We are honored to share with you our line of handcrafted teas blended with adaptogens- herbs that help the body handle stress, boost immunity and support emotional well-being- transforming a simple cup of tea into a truly healing experience. May they comfort you as they have us and inspire you to comfort others.

I love my hot tea as much as I love my morning coffee. I love a hot cup of tea after dinner. I feel like it takes my food too long to digest without it. Thanks for stopping by & joining the blog hop. I followed you back on everything. Have a blessed weekend! :)
